As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University (UIA) was originally an academy with the name As-Syafi'iyah Islamic Education Academy (AKPI) which was founded on November 14, 1965. On March 12, 1969, AKPI was upgraded to university status. Currently, UIA has 14 study programs which are divided into 6 faculties, namely Islamic Religion, Law, Economics & Business, Science & Technology, Teaching & Education Sciences, and Health Sciences.
If you want to continue your education at a university that integrates science and religion, then UIA could be the right choice!
But is Asya Fi'liyah Islamic University as advanced as other universities?
In my opinion there 3 reason:
First, Surely when people mention private universities, people will immediately think expensive. that's why when someone doesn't qualify for a state university he will choose to try again rather than a private one. Likewise with Islamic University of As-Syafi'iyah, because they are private, people will think they are expensive. But that doesn't mean that all private universities are expensive, just like Islamic University of As-Syafi'iyah which is still affordable.
Second, The buildings are still relatively small compared to other universities, when compared to other universities which have many buildings, while Islamic University of As-Syafi'iyah only has two buildings. I think that would be a very important consideration for someone who is looking for a university.
Third, lack of promotion, in my opinion one of the reasons the Islamic University of As-Syafi'iyah has not advanced is because not everyone knows about it.
Conclusion: As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University must always correct what is lacking and what prospective students need so that the university can be better known and even advanced.
